We had a little gathering last night in preperation for the procession of the Americana cars through town. WOW, there were some serious cars!! If you brought a ticket for the $200,000 hotrod, sorry, but I've got the winning ticket ;-). Anyway, here we are, when we have a little gathering usually the little P&S camera comes out for a couple of shots, but we kinda got a little creative this time:)

I had a little spare time this afternoon so we took a couple of quick images of Candy in her new dress. She did well for someone who has little modelling history I think :)

On my way to a shoot this morning I came across one of the tour processions from Americana '09 going through Okato, all thie children from Okato School were out in force to watch the 800+ american cars going past. Anyway here's a few images I squeezed off quickly as they were almost all past by the time I got to see them after the shoot...

The Elusive Tiga=)

So we've mentioned Tiga on our about page on the right there so I thought I'd put a photo of him up so you can see him. He's utterly awesome! well we think so:). He's a year old now and still growing, he's a BIG cat hence why we called him Tiga, because he's like a tiger. So I was shooting some products one day with the studio lights about 6 months ago when he decided he'd like to check out what I was up to, I thought I'd take the chance to get a quick portrait of him, and so here it is. It's not easy really as he wasn't interested in staying in one place for too long, but I think I got a good one or two:)

Candice The Photographer #2 :)

So we have our friend Candice(Candy) staying with us at the moment, a real cool wee chick from Blenheim in the South Island, we actually met her in Auckland when we were all living up there back on '07. Anyway, it's great to see her!!. Today we thought we'd put her to work, don't worry, not too hard, not digging holes or anything so tough!. Nope, we turned her into a photographer!!. We needed a new photograph for our website 'about' page so gave Candy a quick run down on how we wanted it and left her to click away, she did really well bless her, especially considering it was her first touch of an SLR. So while we were down there I got a quick snap of the 2 girls together, so there they are on Fitzroy Beach, New Plymouth.

I just looked, almost 2 years to the day from those 2 posts, how times flies!!

The blog's back up and running:)

Well, here we go, back onto the blog again!, it's been a while thats for sure, last time we were on the Ship in Antarctica by the looks of it. Well we've seen a lot since then and a lot has changed. For the better thats for sure. I think we'll have to sit down and ggive you a big ol' update:), until then...
